Nice to have you here!

If you have already had the opportunity to explore our island, you will have noticed that it offers a wide variety of attractions. Norderney reveals a multitude of contrasts and offers numerous opportunities for discovery for every taste.

The eastern part of the island is characterized by an enchanting natural landscape. An incomparable environment between coast and mudflats, which can either be explored via the more than 80 kilometers of cycle and hiking trails or invites you to take long walks through the wild maritime landscape.
In contrast, the western part of Norderney is characterized by an urban atmosphere and a lively cultural life, without neglecting the characteristic island style. This area has a diverse business community with a wide range of retail outlets, inviting you to stroll and shop in style. A variety of culinary delights await you in the restaurants on Norderney after an eventful day.

Norderney is part of the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park. Since June 2009, the areas of the Lower Saxon Wadden Sea have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Detailed information on this topic is available in the navigation bar of our website.
