Youth café

The youth café (JuCa) in the Haus der Begegnung is an open offer for all children and young people on Norderney from the 5th grade upwards and their friends. The JuCa has a large café area with an open kitchen and two other small rooms for chilling out. WLAN access is also available. Meeting up with friends, chatting, playing, listening to music, playing table football or doing homework - all this is possible at JuCa.

Snacks and drinks can be purchased on site at reasonable prices. There is also the opportunity to get creative in the kitchen or to do handicrafts with various materials. The activities at JuCa are generally free of charge.

The JuCa has the following opening hours during school hours: Monday-Friday 15.30 -19.00.

Volleyball
Open group for everyone from grade 5
Mondays from 17:00 to 18:30 in the elementary school gym

Midnight sports
Open group for everyone aged 14 and over
Fridays from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the gym at the mill

Vacation program

During the Norderney vacation periods (except during the Christmas vacations), there are additional activities and excursions that are also open to primary school children. A trip is also organized once a year.
